‘I have known Rox for around eighteen months. During this time she has helped me to achieve specific goals: I was very conscious of the fact that my upper body strength was poor and wanted to rectify that. She helped me to target specific muscle groups so that I was able to support my own body weight in doing ‘chin ups’ on the parallel bars – something that took me three months to achieve!
During this time she was supportive and encouraged me to push towards my goals – and proved to me anything is possible. I have been running for around three years on the treadmill/road and also occasionally off-road (distance up to 10 mile maximum). I am flat- footed and have all kinds of problems regarding finding the correct orthoses and footwear. Rox performed a whole body assessment of my muscle groups and recommended various forms of stretching and strengthening exercises to target my lower limbs. After following her advice, I managed to improve my gait tremendously and can run comfortably without having to suffer afterwards.
